Liberty Park Amphitheater

The Liberty Park Amphitheater was built in 2020 with natural tones in mind to blend nicely with its wooded backdrop. This multifunctional space includes a beautiful bandshell for performances and events, a spacious grass area, ample parking and restroom access. The amphitheater offers lawn seating for around 1,500 with the option of adding chairs for an additional capacity of 200. The liberty Park Amphitheater is located right in the heart of downtown Mooresville area and is within walking distance to many of the area’s culinary favorites.

Joe V. Knox Auditorium

The Joe V. Knox Auditorium, located within The Charles Mack Citizen Center, is a convenient location for a wide array of performances and events. Often referred to as Mooresville’s best-kept secret, the Charles Mack Citizen Center’s auditorium offers the ideal venue for theater performances, concerts, recitals and other artistic endeavors. The 18’ x 14.5’ projection screen and theater-style seating provide the perfect setting for meetings, seminars and motivational speeches. Named for Joe V. Knox - the town’s mayor for 30 years - the auditorium celebrates the contribution Knox made to the town’s commerce and culture. His legacy is evident in the Charles Mack Citizen Center’s ongoing commitment to share this outstanding facility with the entire community. With seating for 239 people, the handsomely appointed auditorium accommodates audiences in comfort and style. Special features include a state-of-the-art sound and light booth, digital projection capabilities and a spacious staging area, plus dressing rooms and restroom facilities. These amenities continue to draw local, regional and even national clients who seek a smooth and trouble-free auditorium experience.

Mooresville Performing Arts Center (MPAC)

The Mooresville Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is a joint venture between the Mooresville School District and the Town of Mooresville. It opened in the winter of 2018 and is located on the campus of Mooresville High School in historic downtown Mooresville. This state-of-the-art facility has a seating capacity of 1352, with an additional 308 seats in two lecture halls in the rear of the auditorium. These two lecture halls can be added to the main hall via retractable partition walls bringing the total seats to 1660. The center has generous backstage facilities, including dressing room accommodations, rehearsal space and warm-up rooms. Upon request, a large array of specialized equipment can be set up including risers. The stage includes 23 line sets and in-house follow spot. The stage measures 40 feet deep, 24 feet high and 64 feet wide.

The MPAC is the ideal facility hosting a variety of events. Large enough for national renowned acts yet intimate enough to view lectures, concerts, musicals and plays. The MPAC has all of the accoutrements necessary to hold a phenomenal event!
